☀️🧱 What a fantastic first few days of the summer holidays it’s been! 🧱☀️

It’s been brilliant to welcome so many new faces through the doors, as well as plenty of familiar ones too. Seeing everyone getting stuck into the LEGO, creating masterpieces and making memories is exactly what summer at Brick Bank is all about! 💛

🚨 Today’s post does come with a little warning though… 🚨

New LEGO sets are incoming! 👀🧱

That does mean a few of our current kits will be making way for some exciting new arrivals. So, if there’s a particular set you’ve had your eye on building, we’d recommend planning a visit sooner rather than later… just in case it heads into retirement!

And the fun doesn’t stop there…

This Saturday we’ll be joining in the Northern Indie Collective Yorkshire Day Market on Bingley Market Square, with lots of fantastic local stalls, community spirit and, of course, plenty of LEGO fun from us too.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holidays have in store!

⚽🧱 The World Cup may be coming to an end, and England haven’t quite brought it home this time… but we’re still in high spirits at Brick Bank! ☕💛

🎉🧱 And the winners are… 🧱🎉

A huge congratulations to Laura Jane and Bethany Lawlor, our two winners of the June Mystery LEGO Hamper Competition! 🥳🎁

Your prizes are ready to collect from the cafe!

We did have a few technical issues with the videos of the spinning wheel deciding our winners, but we’ve double-checked the results to make sure everything was fair and correct.

A massive thank you to everyone who entered and, more importantly, for making our first birthday month such a memorable one. We really do appreciate every like, share and visit.

Our next competition will be launching in August to coincide with the Yorkshire Day Market, so keep an eye on our page for that!

In the meantime, we’ve got plenty to look forward to with Bingley Baby Social, Brick and Banter, and the summer holidays just around the corner.

☀️☕ Happy Saturday everyone! ☕☀️

First of all, apologies that we’ve been a little quieter than usual on social media recently. We promise we’ve not disappeared! 😄

We’ve been busy working away behind the scenes on a couple of exciting things, as well as starting to prepare for what we hope will be a fun-packed summer holiday programme. Watch this space… 👀🧱

For today though, it’s all about Bingley’s first Soul, Ska & Scooter Day! 🛵🎶

There’s lots happening across the Market Square, Jubilee Gardens and Myrtle Park, and you’ll find us on the Market Square with plenty of LEGO for you to browse and enjoy while you’re out soaking up the atmosphere.

If you’re venturing a little further afield this weekend, our friends at Northern Indie Collective are also launching their first two pop-up markets:

Both promise to be fantastic events packed with brilliant local independent traders, so if you get the chance, go along and show them some support.

🧱☕ Today’s the day… Brick and Banter begins! ☕🧱

From 11am–2pm today, we’re launching Brick and Banter – our brand new LEGO social for the over-50s.

The idea is simple: good company, good conversation, a brew in hand and some LEGO building thrown in for good measure.

Whether you’re a lifelong LEGO fan, haven’t touched a brick in years, or simply fancy getting out of the house for a chat and meeting some new people, we’d love to welcome you along.

There’s no pressure, no experience needed and no expectations. Just a relaxed, friendly space where you can enjoy a cuppa, get creative and have a natter with like-minded people.

After all, you’re never too old to build something amazing… or to make a few new friends along the way 💛

So if you know someone who might enjoy it, bring them along too.
