One week ago we were absolutely thrilled to be named Pub of the Year at the Norfolk & Suffolk Magazine Food & Drink Awards. This award is a real reflection of our brilliant team and all the hard work they put in every day, as well as the wonderful guests and loyal locals who continue to support us throughout the year ✨

There are hundreds of incredible places to eat in Suffolk and Norfolk; it’s an incredible region that we’re all so proud of. We're pleased that The Crown's estate-to-plate offering has been recognised through this award and has highlighted us as one of the best places to dine in the area. The Crown is all about local food, comfy rooms, a beautiful pub, and top-class chefs.

We have some good news on the roadworks! ✨

Coming from Hadleigh? You can now reach The Crown car park.
Coming from Stowmarket? Please use the car park at Chamberlain Hall and walk through our car park to get to us. It's approximately a minutes walk.

It now means that it's easy to get to us from all directions. Thanks for your patience during the roadworks. Don't forget we're offering 10% off our drinks during them...

The lovely Faye is our Demi-Chef de Partie and has been serving up delicious dishes at The Crown for the last year or so ✨ You'll often find Faye in our pastry area, she'll always put a smile on everyone's face and she works incredibly hard to deliver the ultimate estate-to-plate dining experience for you all.

Unveiling our Christmas Party Menus ✨

The tables will be set, the candles will be lit, let the festive period begin! Crisp walks and crackling log fires, festive feasts and local tipples, let's get Christmas at The Crown unwrapped...
