We wanted to share an important update about the future of DRINK.

Over the past few months, we’ve been exploring what comes next for the business and have received a number of offers to buy DRINK. However, these were either much lower than our own valuation or would have meant changing the ethos and spirit that DRINK was built on. To add to this, our landlord has decided that the business can no longer stay in its current home, which has changed the nature of any potential sale significantly.

We’re absolutely devastated — not just for ourselves, but for the town, the community, and everyone who’s helped make DRINK what it is. Losing this space is heartbreaking.

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the final decision to end DRINK as it is, with our last day being Saturday 18th October.

Until then, we’d love your support in celebrating everything we’ve built together — the friendships, community events, dogs, and of course, the drinks that have made DRINK what it is.

This Saturday 11th October, we’ll be hosting Henry’s Farewell Dog Walk from 12–1pm followed by a half price drink from the taps, alongside one of our all-time favourites — Punjabi Shack — serving their take on Punjabi street food outside from 1pm till sell out (menu and details to follow this week!).

Let’s make these last couple of weeks a proper celebration — and send it off with a bang!

Two fresh pales just landed from .brewing!

🍺 Yesterday’s Jam – Pale, 3.4%
Big beer vibes in a sessionable pour. Oats bring the juicy body, while Krush + Simcoe hops add all the flavour you’d expect from something stronger.

🍺 Inside Job – Pale, 5.8%
Say hello to Dolcita (formerly HBC 1019) – a brand new hop showing off sweet, tropical stone fruit. Backed up by NZ legends Nelson Sauvin & Riwaka, and finished with Mango Madness yeast for that fluffy, tropical, chuggable magic.

Available in the shop and on the webshop.
