COOK REQUIRED – Join the Team at Wee Crook Cafe

Wee Crook Café is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our growing team. As a busy and expanding café, we pride ourselves on serving delicious home-cooked food and providing a warm, welcoming experience for our customers.

The Role

Preparing and presenting freshly made, home-cooked dishes with care and attention to detail.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Working efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
Contributing positively to a friendly and supportive team.

What We’re Looking For

Previous cooking experience is essential.
A strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for good home cooking and excellent customer service.

What a lovely afternoon at The Wee Crook Cafe 🚗☕️

Today we welcomed a fantastic group of Model T Ford owners who had booked in with us for a pit stop during their outing. It was great to see these amazing vintage cars up close and meet the friendly people behind them.

We're delighted they chose The Wee Crook Café for their stop, and we hope everyone enjoyed their refreshments and a chance to relax before continuing their journey.

Thank you for visiting us and for bringing a little piece of motoring history to our doorstep!

After weeks of work at the Wee Crook Cafe we're nearly ready to open "The Tiny Crook"– our new horsebox takeaway 🎉

It's taken a bit longer than we'd hoped, mainly because we've been busy keeping up with the day-to-day running of the cafe, but we're finally on the home straight. There are just a few things to do before we're ready to open.

The Tiny Crook will be serving takeaway food, coffee, hot drinks, cakes, traybakes and more. Susan already works in the cafe and is looking forward to her new venture and getting the hatch open.

A big thank you to friends and family who have helped get this project off the ground. Whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, or putting up with us talking about horseboxes for far longer than anyone should have to, its really appreciated. 💛

We’re so grateful to everyone who came in to the Wee Crook Cafe this morning, but we also want to say sorry to those who had to wait a longer than usual for their breakfast. It was one of our busiest mornings and for the first our longest waiting time ever.

Thank you all so much for your patience, kindness, and for choosing to stay with us – it really didnt go unnoticed.
