Meet The Travellin' Hillbillies
This talented group of musicians came together through a shared love of music:
๐ธ Alan (originally from Yorkshire) and John (originally from Glasgow) first met at a music festival in Portugal among hundreds of fellow musiciansโproof that music really does bring people together!
๐ธ Nick, from Leicestershire and now based in Beaconsfield, is a gifted multi-instrumentalist who performs with numerous bands across Buckinghamshire.
๐ธ Heinz-Dieter (H-D) travels from Graz, Austria, bringing exceptional vocals and guitar playing whenever he joins the band. We're delighted he'll be making the trip especially for this event.
๐ We're also hoping to welcome special guest vocalist Ann Routledge, whose beautiful voice will add something extra to the evening.
About the Music
The band's unique blend of harmonies and musicianship creates an easy-going, feel-good sound featuring guitars, bass, banjo, bouzouki and harmonicas. Their repertoire spans well-known Folk, Country and Soft Rock classics that audiences love to sing along with.
Entry is FREE!
There is no admission charge.
The band will perform two 45-minute sets, and if you enjoy the evening, a voluntary donation in support of the Aylesbury Rotary 100 Club charity fund would be greatly appreciated.
The musicians regularly support local community events including Bedgrove Day in the Park, Biertonfest, charity ceilidhs, the Aylesbury Blind Club and many other local causesโand they're delighted to be supporting another great evening in Bierton.
โ๏ธ So gather your friends, bring your singing voices, your dancing shoes (optional!), and join us for a wonderful summer evening of live music, laughter and community spirit.
