Dear all,
As some of you have realised I've not been open for a while, sadly I've taken the decision to close Kitty's Kitchen.

I would like to thank all of the lovely, lovely people who have helped this venture over the last two years; whether you're a chum, supplier or customer you've helped me have a blast for the last two years.

I'm not going to bang on about the reasons behind this decision, I suspect you'll be able to take a guess. Happily an opportunity has arisen that is too good for me to pass up; it wasn't part of the plan but as I've never really had a plan in my life this is pretty true to form.

Love you all.

For the next few days me and my best chum are going to be camping here. Lots of fire, wine and beer in no particular ord...

I was tempted to call this the 'Butler Burger' after the chum who suggested I should put a burger on the menu.
The burger is beef, onion, garlic and Kitty's own cured pork lardons. On top of the burger are slow dried tomatoes and smoked cheddar. There's home made onion and port relish and pickles to finish things off.

Very hands on, busy day yesterday making another batch of Kimchi. The initial batch was made up of veg that had been bought for other needs but was at risk of going to waste, happily they all seemed to work well together and people appear to like the end product.
These jars will need looking after for a while but will end up being full of tangy, spicy loveliness.

Salted the veg to let osmosis do its magic for a few hours. Washed and dried then into the pickle.
