Our Sunday roast, made the way it should be.

Local produce, made from scratch, and a proper plate of comfort food. It’s become a bit of a favourite around here and if you’ve tried it, you’ll know why.

We’re loving the busy summer events season in Garth Park

Coming up shortly is our very own summer shindig on August 1st. There will be live music on the terrace all through the afternoon from 12pm to 7pm featuring the very best local talent

We’ll have beer on tap, a grill menu featuring our much loved dry aged cheeseburgers and some other new outdoor kitchen dishes

We’re very excited for tonight’s semi final game on the big screen outside at Garth Park.

Our pop up bar is ready to go serving cold beers from Tap Social, we’ll also have a range of soft drinks and wine too.

We’ll also be grilling up smoky hot dogs, dry aged cheeseburgers and halloumi buns up until just before kick off so come down early for a bite before the game.

Well... that was fun!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to Taco Night on Friday. We honestly weren’t expecting quite how busy it would be, and seeing the terrace packed out in the sunshine with tacos, margaritas, palomas and picantes in hand was pretty special.

The kitchen barely stopped all evening, Alice & Sweeney playing live really added to the atmosphere, and for a few hours it genuinely felt like we’d all been transported somewhere a little more tropical than Bicester.

So when shall we do it again?

Taco Night at Garth Park Kitchen!!

Friday 26th June

Food served from 5pm – 8.30pm

For one evening only, we’ll be serving a menu of tacos on quality corn tortillas

Behind the bar we’ll be mixing margaritas, picantes and micheladas, and we’ll have a few mezcal-based drinks on offer too

It’s a relaxed evening in Garth Park with live music all night and as always we’re family and dog friendly

Reservations are recommended but we’ll keep some spaces for walk-ins

We know a full English is hard to resist, but if you’re in the mood for something different , give this a try.

Our slow roast Oxfordshire pork hash is packed with warming spices and served with crispy house rostis, caramelised onions, a fried and a touch of salsa verde.

We had a great time grilling up by the bandstand for Sundays in the Park last weekend.

The burgers were definitely a highlight - homemade, of course, using dry-aged Belted Galloway beef from our friends , topped with creamy West Country cheddar, slowly caramelised onions, pickles, and our house burger sauce, all served in buns from

Alongside the burgers we were also serving smoked bockwurst fresh from the grill, and we made sure vegetarians were well looked after too with our halloumi buns.

Add some sunshine, live music, local craft beers, ice cream, and it made for a pretty perfect afternoon.

We’ll be back doing it all again on the 14th June from 12.30pm, so come and grab some lunch and enjoy the music with us.

House coconut and pistachio granola with a robust smattering of linseeds, pumpkin seeds and of course our zero waste crushed waffle cones.

Always served with a seasonal fruit, here with rhubarb poached in a little star anise and vanilla.
