FUNDRAISING ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi everyone, many of you know 2 of our regular’s at The Rose & Crown; John Irwin and Jimmy Nixon's life took an unexpected turn when both were recently affected by severe strokes — leaving them facing a long, hard road ahead to regain their speech, mobility, and independence.
While they’re receiving hospital care, the reality is: NHS therapy resources are stretched thin, and recovery needs far exceed what’s currently available. To give them the best possible chance of getting their lives back, they desperately need private specialist therapy — speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy — that can start when they are discharged and continue consistently.
