As most of you are now aware we have finally closed and cleared the cafe, this has now been given back to the landlady. We are uncertain as to what will become of The Village Cafe, hopefully someone will take it on at some point and it won’t become just another empty property within the village. Once again Lou and I would like to thank everyone in the village for their support over the past few years, we wish everyone the best for the future.

Just to update everyone as to what is happening. After long discussions with various possible buyers of the cafe we were unable to make a sale. This being the case we have now regrettably decided to clear and sell all of our equipment, furniture, crockery and cookware and hand the property back to the landlord.
If you or anyone you know would like to buy anything from within the cafe we have a complete list of what we have available, please feel free to message us.

We would just like to update all our customers that don’t already know that after this Friday 1st July the cafe will be closed until further notice.
We will also be closed this coming Monday 27th June because of both our healths although we are hoping to open on Wednesday 29th and Friday 1st. We will continue to update this page as things progress.

CAFE OPENING UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2022

As most of you are now aware, we currently have the cafe up for sale, this is due to both of us having various health conditions.

Because of this we have regrettably decided to close of Saturdays until a new buyer can be found. We will however remain open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

We hope everyone will understand our situation and continue the fantastic support you have all given us.

After our Christmas break we are pleased to say we will be open on Weds 5th and Friday 7th Jan at 8.30am, however we will be closed on Saturday 8th Jan.
