❤️ This one really meant a lot to us.
We had absolutely no idea who The Good Food Hunter UK were when they walked through our door — and no idea that Novecento was being reviewed.
We only really understood what had happened in the days afterwards, when friends and long-standing customers started calling and messaging us about this video.
In challenging times for small independent businesses, words like these give you a little extra energy to keep doing what you love.

Fancy a Mezzaluna? You’ve got three to choose from:

🍗 Chicken & Peppers

🌱 Roasted Peppers

All served with fries & a fresh salad garnish.

And as part of our Friday Lunch for just £12.45, you can choose your main from the Friday Lunch Menu and we’ll also include:

🥤 a soft drink
🍩 our little dolce — warm dough balls tossed in cinnamon sugar, served with a little pot of custard.

Every Friday, 12:00–2:30pm.

And if you fancy something different, our regular menu is also available as usual.

A table, a cup of coffee, something to eat… and plenty of Italian. ☕❤️

Our Saturday group is becoming a lovely little way to learn, practise and improve your Italian in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere — with Piero there to help you along the way.

No pressure, no classroom feeling. Just Italian conversation, a little learning, a few laughs and the chance to meet new people around the table.

£10 per person, including coffee and something to eat.

Whether you already know a little Italian or simply want to become more confident speaking it, you’re very welcome to join us. 🇮🇹

🇮🇹 Our first Brunch Weekend is officially behind us… and what a lovely start! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first weekend of brunch at Novecento. It was wonderful to see this new little chapter finally come to life — and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again this weekend. ☕🍳

🇮🇹 Speak Italian with Piero is back this weekend too!

Sunday’s Italian conversation session is now fully booked, but we still have a few places available for Saturday.

If you’d like to practise and improve your Italian in a friendly, relaxed environment, this could be the perfect time to join us.

And of course, our Weekend Brunch is running on both Saturday and Sunday. ❤️

We’d always recommend booking ahead, especially as our little bistro only has a limited number of tables.

☕️ Weekend Brunch is here!

From this weekend, Saturday and Sunday mornings at Novecento are changing.

Join us from 10am to 2pm for our new Weekend Brunch — eggs on toast, three-egg omelettes, Mediterranean brunch bowls, our Novecento Breakfast and something sweet. 🍳

We've kept it the way we like things at Novecento: simple, relaxed and full of flavour.

And there's a little something different each day too: a Club Special on Saturday and our Roast Beef Panino on Sunday.

🇮🇹 This weekend also marks the beginning of Speak Italian with Piero, with our first sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Bookings for both Weekend Brunch and Speak Italian with Piero are now open.

🇮🇹 Speak Italian with Piero is finally here!

After the lovely response to our first announcement, we're ready to start.

Starting from 12 September, throughout September we'll meet every Saturday and Sunday, from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Two relaxed hours around the table with Piero, speaking Italian, building confidence and, most importantly, enjoying the conversation.

Don't worry about your level of Italian — whether you already know a little or you're starting with just a few words, Piero will help everyone join in and enjoy the experience.

For our September sessions, places will be limited to 8 people and the cost will be £10 per person, including a coffee of your choice and a light bite.

We'd love Speak Italian with Piero to become a regular appointment at Novecento. These first September meetings will help us find the best rhythm and format to continue it in the months ahead.

Bookings open Monday through our online booking system. 🇮🇹☕

After our little break, we’ll be reopening our doors tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd September, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again. ❤️

🔋 Time to recharge...

It’s been a busy few months at Novecento, and before September begins, we’re taking a few days to slow down, recharge our batteries and come back with fresh energy.

We’ll be closed from 26th to 29th August, and we’ll be back as usual on Wednesday 2nd September. ❤️

And there’s plenty to look forward to when we return: our Weekend Brunch, Italian conversations with Piero to learn and improve your Italian, and a few more things we’re working on behind the scenes. 🇮🇹
