What an adventure filled summer we’ve had! 💛

I’m always so grateful and overwhelmed by everyone’s support when I take these breaks. So many of you pop into the shop before we go to wish us a great time and are super understanding. It means more than you know.

Our summer was full of sun, sea and croissants on repeat, perfect!!

Anyway, KLC is back this week! I’ve had a busy day in the kitchen today and can’t wait to see you all and catch up.

Today’s baking day has featured one very distracting 6 year old sat in the shop, Polly Pockets everywhere, a Disney playlist blasting out the tunes allll day, a few games of musical statues, and two trays of overcooked cake that had to be baked all over again 😵‍💫

This is why we take a summer break! Juggling kids and work is no joke in the summer holidays!

Just a reminder that we’re back tomorrow and Saturday this week and then we’ll be taking our annual summer break until the 4th September for some family time 💛

I made this for my little boy yesterday and it looked so good. Bueno spread, chocolate sauce, soft serve ice cream, a bueno bar and whipped cream.

He’s now creating an ice cream sundae menu for KLC, so watch this space for his next creation! 😆

What a day!

It started with a broken ice cream machine, which we somehow managed to fix by turning it on and off about 20 times 😅

Thankfully, the rest of the day more than made up for it. It was so lovely to see lots of familiar faces, along with plenty of new ones too 🥰 Thank you to everyone who popped by today. Looking forward to seeing you all again tomorrow.

Oh and it’s the end of term and officially the school summer holidays! This was one of the boxes of cakes I sent into my kids’ school. Lucky teachers 😜

It’s so good to be back!

The jet lag has definitely been catching up with me this week, especially after being straight back into the kitchen on Monday morning. 😵‍💫

I’ll share a few more photos from our World Cup trip next week, but first have you spotted the new addition to our drinks menu?

Matcha is back! You can keep it classic with vanilla or try our Strawberry Iced Matcha, made with strawberry purée. I’m obsessed with both!

These chocolate chip cookies are now one of our best sellers.

They were my project for a good 2 years. They took tons of test batches in my kitchen at home and I committed to buying every bakery cookie I could find while in America for research (tough job 😏).

We now bake them fresh every Friday and Saturday morning so you’re guaranteed the best fresh cookie.
