Wish you were here, part one.
A rather dismal day in Bewdley, to say the least; we can always find something to do in the kitchen, but it was very much brightened by some fantastic reviews on Google and from the group in for a workshop last night, all of which particularly commented on our freshly prepared food. So tonight we give a shout out to all the chefs, and especially boss chef Mel who is enjoying a much deserved break in the New Forest, and sends us this beautiful photograph of the light house at the Hurst Castle Keyhaven Lake. Enjoy your hols, Mel!

Good afternoon, and the good news is that it should be a beautiful evening, it was in the herb garden. The not so good news is that rain is expected to start later and all day tomorrow, but sun is forecast for Friday afternoon and evening, when Disco Divas will be appearing in the park, tickets from Bewdley Museum. All followed by a great weekend, so come and get a table in the sun!

Walking the footpaths, and today's colour is pink.
As we pass through the seasons, so the colours change each month; winter and white snowdrops, then bluebells, followed by yellow buttercups and dandelions, red poppies, and today Digitalis purpurea, the common foxglove, looking lovely in pink by the side of the Maypole field in Wribbenhall. The whole of our world is one big garden!

First off tonight, and our catch-up on yesterday when we had a full house in the kitchen, with Sam, Lois and Katie from Reach joining Felicity and Sarah, doing front of house and behind the scenes work, and baking up the best of cakes - oh, the strawberries! We leave you tonight with an evening view of some familiar shops of Bewdley, where you can indulge your favourite childhood memories; sweets, ice cream, or a nice haircut for the summer. Kit wouldn't go anywhere else, although he does get his ice creams from us.
