I love it when I receive orders like this, when the customer tells me the recipient has no idea at all. It’s so fun to be involved in the surprise knowing this is going to create a special moment in someone’s day

Both of these orders were surprise gifts completely customised to each recipient. From the choice of colours to the flavours and to the little details like adding red to the second box as a nod to the recipients home county of Lancashire. It’s these little details that make these orders thoughtful and feel special 🥰

I’m back!

Summer is always such a busy season for me, it’s the start of market season and lots of summer Birthday orders

When I haven’t been baking this summer I’ve been trying my best to keep my first dahlia hydrated it has definitely been challenging 😅 but I have had some beautiful flowers from it 😍 also celebrated a family wedding in August ☺️

I’ve had some time off and I’m ready to be baking again and I’m definitely ready for autumn it’s one of my favourite seasons and the planning has already begun for some seasonal treats

We also have a collection point for the Black Country Food Bank Black Country Food Bank

We are a friendly community market, showcasing local independent artists, craft makers, bakers, growers and more.

Our market is run by volunteers and all the money raised go towards the ongoing repair and maintenance of Hagley Community Centre.

Held on the last Saturday of every month, except December this year when our market will be on the 13th December.

We encourage sustainable actions and ask all our Traders not to use plastic packaging, we offer 10p off hot drinks for customers bringing their own cups and we love to see visitors arriving on foot or by train!

You really do have to come to experience how welcoming this market is! When you’ve finished having a browse, treat yourself to tea and cake from the lovely Hagley WI Cafe.

Our first market was in March 2023 and since then it’s been held every month. We have 20+ independent Traders every month and over 400 visitors at every market. Some Traders are new local businesses setting up and we love to help them grow, as well as established businesses. We have had many who’s first ever market is with us.

Far Forest Show 2026

It’s always such a great weekend to attend, I loved meeting familiar and new customers and networking with other businesses 🥰

The blondies were very popular with the biscoff blondies selling out on Sunday! The lemon and white chocolate cupcakes were also a favourite

Thank you to everyone who visited the show over the weekend and brought some delicious treats! And a big thank you to the organisers and volunteers for making the show happen. Looking forward to returning next year!
