What a weekend. ☕

A huge thank you to everyone who came through the doors this weekend - both new faces discovering Press & Pour for the first time and those of you already coming back for another.

We genuinely appreciate every coffee, every cake and every bit of support. It’s been an epic one.

Just a quick heads-up for this week: we’ll be closing early at 11am tomorrow (Monday 5th) while we attend a training course.

So if you need your Monday Press & Pour fix, come and see us between 8am and 11am.

This week only - a couple of tweaks to closing hours due to staff training (stay tuned for any changes) 😎

Thank you again, Beverley. We’re having a lot of fun building this little place.

Not everyone drinks coffee. We don’t hold it against you.

Our tea shelf is looking pretty good too.

We’ve got the classic Great British Cuppa, alongside a few slightly less traditional options from Bird & Blend:

The weekend starts here. ☕

No big plans needed.

Grab the dog. Bring the kids. Meet a mate. Get out for a walk. Or just find a sofa and spend an hour doing absolutely nothing with a decent coffee.

We’re Press & Pour, a little independent coffee bar tucked away on Grovehill Road in Beverley.

We serve locally roasted Three Ridings coffee, freshly ground for every cup, with cakes, cookies, cold drinks in glass bottles and a growing selection of wholebean coffee to take home.

Not our usual view behind the coffee bar today…

We gave a customer’s very nice Sage machine a proper bit of attention - good clean, everything purged through, then dialled in specifically for our Three Ridings house blend.

Safe to say, it left making a much better cup of coffee.

If you’ve got a home espresso machine that could do with a bit of TLC, or you’ve never quite managed to get your coffee tasting right, bring it in and have a chat with us. We’re happy to take a look, help get things dialled in and show you what we’ve changed.

We might even send it home with a bag of freshly roasted beans to put it through its paces…

Good coffee shouldn’t stop when you leave Press & Pour.

You asked. We listened. Gingerbread is in.

We genuinely love hearing what you want to see at Press & Pour, and one request kept popping up - Gingerbread syrup.

So, it’s officially joined the line-up alongside Vanilla, Caramel and the rest of the shelf.

Gingerbread latte? Absolutely. Add it to your usual coffee? Go for it.

Keep the suggestions coming too. Press & Pour is still new, and we want what we stock to be shaped by the people actually coming through the door.

A little Press & Pour road trip…

We made the trip down to Ipswich especially to visit twobeansdown - a brilliant independent coffee bar run from a converted horse box and, as it happens, run by our cousin.

Great coffee, a seriously cool setup and a business doing some good along the way too, with regular donations to Great Ormond Street Hospital greatormondst

Naturally, we’re not heading back to Beverley empty handed. We’ve got a bag of their coffee coming home with us and there might just be a reason for that… Of course we had to trade for an awesome bag of threeridingscoffee

We’ll leave it there for now, but there are some ideas brewing between Two Beans Down x Press & Pour.

Machine on. Grinders ready. Shelves stocked. Coffee incoming.

After another brilliant weekend, we’re back at it this morning from 8am.

Whether you’re heading to work, walking the dog, passing through Grovehill or just fancy getting out for a decent coffee, come and find us.

Another little Press & Pour first today - our first private hire.

The space was taken over for a birthday, and it worked brilliantly. Three Ridings Coffee from the machine, soft drinks in glass bottles, a marksandspencerfood Colin the Caterpillar making an appearance and pizza delivered straight to the door.

And that’s exactly how we want private hire here to work. You get the space to yourselves, we’ll take care of the coffee and drinks, and if you want to order food in, absolutely fine by us.

Birthdays, small celebrations, meet-ups, clubs, workshops or just getting a group of people together somewhere a little different - we’re open to ideas.

Our first one was a success. Hopefully the first of many.
