A huge shoutout to Chris & Joe at for this incredible commissioned end-grain oak chopping board, featuring the custom Westwood Restaurant walnut logo recessed into the board.

Handcrafted using locally sourced Dalton Estate hardwood, this board is a perfect blend of craftsmanship, durability, and style. Whether it’s taking pride of place in a busy commercial kitchen or becoming the centrepiece of a home kitchen,
it looks stunning wherever it sits.

But the real magic is in the end-grain construction. End-grain boards are renowned for being much kinder to knife edges, allowing blades to slip between the wood fibres rather than cutting across them. The result? Better knife protection, longer-lasting sharpness, and a chopping board built to stand the test of time.
