11/10/26 NO ROUND TODAY

Massive apologies to the Sunday crew but we're a van down today! As some of you may have seen my suspension failed on the way home on Friday so I'm going to have to get it sorted before I can drive again.

Fear not, this isn't technically the end of the season quite yet! We have a few contingencies planned including a possible visit by Pink next week and also we're planning an end-of-season delivery service at the end of the month.

*For those of you who can't wait that long then it's a perfect time to try out our SUNDAE MONDAY pick up service! You've got until 7pm this evening to order some pre-paid take-home sundae pots with your choice of flavours, then pick them up from our freezer in Brandesburton at your chosen time slot tomorrow! Thank you Skirlaugh! A bit of a weird round tonight - that sudden rain shower made things a bit iffy and flipping heck that wind was chilly!

On a slightly sour note it looks like my season might be over a little earlier than planned. As I was pulling in to the services to fill up there was an almighty BANG and it looks like my passenger side suspension has failed! 😭 I've managed to get it home but it's going to need some serious TLC with the mechanics to get it sorted.

Becki and I are going to see what we can do with Pink to try and cover off the rest of the season, watch this space!

09/10/26 ARNOLD and SKIRLAUGH

The weather's been flip-flopping all day but currently it's looking bright and sunny! No matter what happens there's something at the van for any eventuality! Grab yourself a 99, a special or if it takes a turn for the chilly again - one of our many HOT DESSERT offerings!

We've got a few weeks of our season left so we're pulling out all the stops!

For the kids (and big kids) we've got our HALLOWEEN EYE SCREAM specials on the menu again for those who like their ice creams extra spooky - choose your own sauce for your uniquely coloured ice cream monster!

To add to our selection of sauces we've also added some winter favourites such as BUTTERSCOTCH and BANOFFEE flavour in addition to our VIMTO while stocks last!

Finally, with the cold weather maybe coming eventually we've brought out our EXPANDED WINTER DESSERT menu! In addition to the usual year-round offerings we also have our hugely popular APPLE CRUMBLE and for the first time - STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING!
What's more, we're even offering CUSTARD at £2 a portion. Have it instead of ice cream, or be super indulgent and have both!

To make things even better the sticky toffee pudding is GLUTEN FREE so you coeliacs can enjoy both the brownie and sticky toffee options!

Huge thank you to everyone who sent orders through for our first Sundae Monday! 🤩

We had WAY more than I was expecting which was quite the shock when we finally got home from today’s very busy rounds 😂

We ended up with 24 pots to make and we actually managed to make every single one which just shows how much ice cream would have been wasted if it wasn’t for your legends.

I can’t thank you all enough for giving it a try and I can’t wait for you to collect your pots on Monday and enjoy them at home 🥰

If you sent an order please check your emails as you should have a message from me providing the collection details - also please let me know your estimated collection time so I can ensure your pots are there for you at the right time.

There were so many that I don’t think they will all fit in the Busters Box so I’ll have to load them in stages 🫣😅

Once I’ve gotten over the shock of today’s uptake and confirmed all these pots are safely on their way to their new homes, I’ll open orders for next weeks drop for those who want to order for Monday 12th October Collections.

Just a reminder that we will be doing delivery drops once we finish for the season so be sure to follow the page for updates on when that goes live.

Thank you Sunday crew for another excellent end to the week! It was great to see you all out in force on this bright, sunny and (mostly) warm Sunday!

It's been a belting, if unseasonable, week weather wise and it was great to see everyone still keen for your treats. There's definitely a nip in the air now so who knows how long it'll last!

It's been great to see so many people keen for the Halloween Specials and the expanded Hot Desserts menu. We're always striving to give you the best dessert experience we can throughout the year, no matter the temperature.

Thanks also to those of you who have participated in our very first ever Sundae Monday drop. We were hard at work getting your orders ready when we got back tonight and they'll be waiting in the freezer for you to pick up tomorrow! Thank you for supporting us and helping us to combat food waste!
