Possibly the worst kept secret in North Wales… 👀☕️

We’ve been beavering away behind the scenes with the brilliant Social Hour Coffee Roasters over on Anglesey to create something we’ve wanted to do for a LONG time…

Our very own Black Rock Coffi blend — THE MEETING POINT.

Punchy, rich and chocolatey with a hint of nuttiness. It’s got enough about it to properly taste your coffee in the morning, while still being ridiculously smooth and easy drinking. Our kind of coffee ☕️

So, why The Meeting Point?

It’s one of our favourite local spots, where the River Llugwy meets the River Conwy. A place to meet friends, stop for a while, take in the view or simply escape the chaos for five minutes, and that felt pretty fitting for a coffee too.

Coffee to meet over. Coffee to catch up over. Or coffee to drink quietly while pretending you don’t want to talk to anyone. We support all three ✊🏼

One thing our earlier Sunday start time and earlier finish time gives us is a little more time to explore on a Sunday afternoon!

We headed up in to the forest again and accidentally carried on walking until we stumbled across Llyn Parc - First time there and honestly, we were blown away! It’s majestic up there, if you haven’t been, GO! 🌲 💧

Better late than never!

Same opening hours again guys - 9am until 3.00pm! Be there or be square 😏

Heads up, we are trialling a new opening and closing time for Sundays.

We will be open at 9am tomorrow and closing at 3pm.

We will let you know if this becomes a permanent future!

Everyone tells us, “It must be so cool owning a coffee shop!”

But what you see is us behind the counter, pouring coffee, chatting away and having a laugh.

What you don’t see is that we’re also the cleaners, plumbers, handy people, bookkeepers, stock takers, social media team, maintenance crew… and whatever else needs doing that day 😅

Running a little independent coffee shop is tough. Like, really tough.

But is it cool?

Heck yeah.

Because amongst all the chaos, we get to make coffee, have a laugh and meet all you wonderful people every single day. And we genuinely wouldn’t swap that 🖤☕️

Anyway… writing this while fixing the toilet door that someone kindly broke yesterday.

Living the dream 😂
