Right in the heart of Betws-y-Coed we're open 7 days a week

if you're contacting us to book a table there's no need :)we operate a no booking policy all year round so you can just rockup and our host will find you a table .....inside or outside for 2 or for 10! We've lots of different areas inside and out on our undercover terrace from small and cosy nook tabels to big family feasting tables - So no need to worry about a reservation - phew that's another stress gone! With fresh daily specials and local produce from all over the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia National Park, including all the latest artisan gins, craft beers and cask ales. We all know what a day out in the mountains feels like and a big tasty bowl of hot piping food and a cold beer always tastes even better after a fresh air adventure! We have an eclectic entertainment program with mini music fests, pop up events, winter food festivals and host a goosebumpingly melodic Male Voice Choir night, come listen to them sing and you really will feel the heartbeat of Wales. And in homage to our alpine location our popup Winter events include Local Food & Craft markets and festive festoonery galore! Y Stablau - perfect all year round!

On 3rd October, OVMRT are at The Waterloo as part of Eryri Fest. Come and hear their stories, learn what's really going on out there, and maybe pick up a few things that could help you or someone else one day.

When someone's day in the mountains goes badly wrong, these are the people who come.

The Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team had 36 calls for help this summer. That's volunteers leaving their own lives to spend hours – sometimes 9 or more – getting people to safety in some really difficult situations.

If you spend any time in these mountains, it's really worth going.

Get ready for a brilliant night! Will Rendell is back at Y Stablau this weekend.

Will always brings the fun with his guitar and laid-back style. If you’ve been before, you know how quickly the place fills up with singing, laughter, and good times.

If you haven’t, you’re in for a treat - you might not mean to join in, but you probably will!

No need to plan anything fancy. Just show up, grab your friends (dogs included), and get ready for a night that’ll put a grin on your face. We’ll have the drinks flowing, tunes playing, and a cracking atmosphere all evening.
