Our wonderful village has bought the pub and we are now open as a community business. Our kitchen under our Head Chef Jim Miles offers food 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday, including our fabulous Sunday Roasts! Our cafe is open 10.00-12.00 Monday to Friday, with hot drinks and locally made cakes available throughout the day.

The perfect Yorkshire's will be ready in good time for Sunday lunch at The George tomorrow. With a choice of roasted meats, duck fat roasted potatoes and a host of seasonal vegetables, we will be serving from midday until 3.30pm. This week we've added Eazy IPA (5.0% abv) from Camden Town Brewery to our tap line up... a classic IPA with some punch from fresh Citra and a dose of peachy El Dorado hops. The result? A stone-fruit juicy, golden-hazy, desert island treasure 🌴

Its unfiltered for more flavour and suitable for veggies + vegans.
