Help!! Man Friday needed!!
Our coffee machine has blown a fuse and needs a new plug urgently. It's the cabling, not the machine.
Can you help!!!
Is there a local electrician who might be in the area and free ASAP to come and fix it for us please 🙏?

We are again, experiencing unusually hot weather.
Did you know that the Shop at Strood Green is air conditioned throughout, including our cafe?

If you need some respite during the summer, we offer our community a 'Safe Space' away from the heat. Please do come in and stay for a while where you will be welcome to some iced water (provided free of charge) or a pot of tea, coffee and/or a light bite.

If you work from home, this is an ideal opportunity to bring your laptop and work in air conditioned comfort for an hour or two (please make sure your device batteries are fully charged and it's best to ring ahead to make sure we have a table available for work).

We offer free WiFi and access to an excellent B&W/colour A4 laser printer, which can also print direct from your phone (or laptop, or memory stick) and we have a PC available should you need it (we can also provide reams of A4 paper at a reasonable cost).

🧀We're delighted to hear from Bookham Harrison Staff that Sussex Charmer picked up a gold medal 🥇 and South Downs Butter a silver 🥈 this week at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards in Staffordshire this week. 😁
They are very worthy winners in our opinion too!! We are very proud to stock both in our chiller. 🧀

Wow!!!! The fresh local asparagus was a sell out yesterday!! So we got more in for you. Find it in the display fridge in the back of the shop for maximum freshness and take it home to enjoy. This coming Friday, asparagus quiche will also be coming in, ready for the weekend. So, while it's here, don't let it pass you by!!
