Hello all,hope you’re all doing grand. Once again,sorry for the late post,I’ve been a little incapacitated this week,but all good now.

Friday,being the first one of the month,is our Open Mic and Jam Session,hosted as always by Mr Iain Petrie. All welcome,any level,come along from eight o’clock,you’ll be more than welcome.

Sunday,it’s Film Night. This month we present 2017’s much lauded coming of age comedy drama Lady Bird,directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan (auto correct had fun with that!).
7pm start,free entry.

best known young persons guitar combo’s,
Muzzle. This is their last gig before they head to Lindisfarne Festival next weekend.
Support comes from two piece Martyr.

Hello all,hope you’re all coosty.
Here’s what’s coming up for you in the Basement this week.

Thursday sees the return of Quiz Night. Zeph’s got all the questions but do you have the answers? Come along for 7:30 to find out.
£2 per person,up to five in a team,winners take all.

On Saturday we have a double header.
From 1 o’clock we have Dj’s Brian C and Michael Elliot bringing you an afternoon of Ska,Reggae,Soul and Scootering Classics.
Fred Perrys essential,Fishtail Parka’s,not so much.
Then,from nine,we have the return of DJ Scotty. He’ll be playing his mix of House,Trance,Electro and Disco. Get the Palais Gliders on and dance like nobody’s watching.

Next weekend it’s Berwick Fringe and we’re proud to be part of it. 4 bands on both Friday and Saturday night. Details shortly.

Saturday
England v Norway on our big screen. 10PM kickoff for this. No booking required,standing room only.
The game will also be on in the bar.

Hello,all. Hope everyone is .doing well.
Here’s what’s coming up this week.

Friday sees the return of our ever popular Open Mic and Jam Session,presented as ever,by Iain Petrie.
All abilities welcome,turn up and play from 8pm in the Basement.

Sunday is Film Night,again in our Basement.
This month’s movie is Korean “Past Lives”,a story of a couples relationship over the course of 24 years,and was nominated for both Golden Globes and Academy Awards.
7pm start,booking advised.

Just to mention,we will be open at 4pm on Wednesday,as we will be showing England take on the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the round of 32 at the World Cup.
Available to watch on 2 screens.

Hello,all. Hope everyone is well. As football fever grips the nation,we do have a couple of alternatives for you in the Basement this week.

Thursday is our monthly Quiz Night,with genial host,Big Zeph. Usual rules apply,maximum of five in a team,£2 per person entry. Questions start at 7:30,so please have your thinking caps on by then.

Saturday night,we have for your delight and delectation,post hardcore,4 piece,Glass Family Saga,featuring members of One Mississippi.
Supporting will be Samuel Reed with his own style of song craft and musicianship.
8:30 pm start,free entry.

Oh,and if football fever does have you gripped,we will be showing games in the bar,kickoff times permitting.

Hello,all. Hope you’re doing well. Many apologies for the late post. In the basement this weekend:

On Saturday we have the return of Lake Como native,Lorenzo “Bonfire”Bonfanti. Having played here with his own brand of folk/pop a couple of years ago,Lorenzo fell in love with the town,and has even written a song about it.
Lorenzo will be playing from 9pm,and if anyone is looking for a 30 minute support slot,give us a message.

Then,on Sunday it’s the return of our good friends,The Tweed River Jazz Band with a night of old style New Orleans jazz. The guys will be kicking off from 7 pm.
