We make as much as we can from scratch, and don't like to travel far for our ingredients. All our coffee is roasted in our repurposed shipping container, in the sun-trap, wind shielded, walled garden. Sourced from ethical and sustainable farms and small holders from all over the world.

Psssst…... For the last few weeks we’ve been trialling a hot food service menu here at Pilgrims Coffee house. We have been blown away by feedback from you lovely lot and so are pleased to say it’s sticking around for a while with some seasonal changes, you know we don’t sit still for long. Here’s some of the dishes you can find on our current menu served between 9 - 2pm subject to opening times. Crab brioche & miso bisque, grilled Northumbrian cheese toastie, Breakfast Focaccia and Oat Kitchen Granola with Greek yoghurt and seasonal compote.

Join us this evening and tomorrow for the last of our Summer ‘Prinks’ series. Some of our favourites from the menu are these natural w**es from Sandbridge Barton in Devon. ‘Little Bee’ is a skin contact, otherwise known as orange w**e and ‘Figgie Daniel’ a naturally sparkling white otherwise known as ‘Pet Nat’. Not only are they small batch grown and produced in England with minimal intervention, they also pack a flavour punch and we are sure you will agree. See you tonight for a glass!

!! Power cut !! We are unable to open due to another power failure on the Island. Hopefully we will be open as soon as possible. In the meantime enjoy the tranquility, peace and sunshine.

There aren't many coffee shops you can only reach at low tide.

Holy Island of Lindisfarne is connected to the mainland by a causeway that disappears twice a day beneath the North Sea. It's remote, wild, and genuinely unlike anywhere else in the UK.

This is where our coffee is roasted. Where our story began. And where - if you're lucky enough to make the journey - you can drink it with a view that'll stay with you.

Think espresso is just for fancy machines? Think again.

A great espresso is all about balance - and once you understand the basics, you can dial it in at home.

Here's what to aim for:

⚖️ Dose: 18-20g of freshly ground coffee
💧 Yield: 36-40g of espresso in the cup (a 1:2 ratio)
⏱️ Time: 25-30 seconds from first drop to last
🌡️ Temperature: 92-96°C

Too bitter? Grind coarser or shorten the shot.
Too sour? Grind finer or pull a little longer.

It takes a few attempts - but when you nail it, there's nothing better ☕
