Life at the Cross since Easter…

Our first grid post since then. Forgive us! We’ve been slightly addicted to posting on our stories, and we’ve also just had a brilliantly busy, fun and joy-filled time since spring.

From small, intimate wedding suppers, to those special birthday lunches, or simply dinner with family and friends. It’s been such a pleasure to be part of so many lovely moments and celebrations over the past few months.

So, a little belatedly, we wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your continued support, for choosing to spend your special moments with us, and for being part of life at The Cross. We’re so grateful for you all.

Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to… and there’s plenty more to come!

A look back over the weekend…

While the vast majority of our guests were wonderful and we loved celebrating with you, we did experience some unacceptable behaviour.

Abuse towards staff, refusal to respect bar closing times, and behaviour that placed additional and unnecessary burden on our cleaning and bar staff will not be tolerated.

We are a small local business, and respect for our team is non-negotiable.

This post is not about naming any particular individual or group, but simply a reminder to all that this kind of behaviour will not happen again.
