Although locally and beyond Steve doesn’t need much of an introduction for those that might want to try something g new, Steve brings his distinctive blues and is joined by an some of the best local band mates with a line up of..

Expect a journey through blues, maybe the odd pop cover in a style that is most distinctly his own, one to get up and dance to!

🎶 This Friday the 17th of July we’re delighted to welcome back 🇮🇹 Nomade Swing Trio, returning to Repas7 almost two years after their brilliant first visit as part of another UK tour.

Based in Piemonte, Italy, Nomade Swing Trio features Luca Allievi and Alessandro Brizio on lead and rhythm guitars, alongside Mariano Gallizio on acoustic bass.

Inspired by the French and Belgian jazz of the 1930s and 40s, they blend Gypsy Jazz standards with classical influences, modern improvisation and their own unmistakable Italian style. Their incredible musicianship has taken them to some of Europe’s most respected jazz venues, including Blue Note Milan and Turin Jazz Club, as well as festivals across Italy. They’ve also shared stages and recording sessions with the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, Clive Carroll, John Renbourn and Frank Gambale.

Whether you came along last time or are seeing them for the first time, expect an evening of dazzling guitar work, infectious rhythms and world-class musicianship from one of the finest touring acts we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming.

It’s been over a year since the original Repas7 By Night page disappeared overnight, taking with it over 2,000 followers, 100,000+ monthly views, years of gig photos, music contacts and memories.

Despite countless messages and very little help from Meta, I think it’s finally time to stop looking back and start building again.

If you’ve enjoyed a night of live music with us over the last five years, I’d really appreciate it if you could give the new page a follow and share it with anyone who loves live music in Berwick.

🎶 This Saturday, 11th July we’re delighted to welcome Rain Of Animals to Repas7 By Night for their first appearance with us.

Friends with a couple of by night favourites Harry Bird music & Sociograss we can’t wait to meet and finally here
Rain Of Animals, a collaboration between Pepita Emmerichs (formerly of Oh Pep!) and Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool), bringing together a shared love of mandolin, fiddle, guitar, close harmony vocals and the rich traditions of bluegrass, old-time, folk and swing.

With Pepita originally from Australia and Theodore from Scotland, the duo have created a sound that feels both timeless and completely their own. Their musicianship is exceptional, blending dazzling instrumental performances with beautifully crafted songs and harmonies. Between them they’ve released several albums, including music from Nali’s World and The Flood, and have collaborated with acclaimed American mandolinist Jacob Jolliff.

It’s going to be good, we hope you can make it along!

🎶 This Friday, 10th July we’re bringing together three fantastic local acts for a night showcasing some of the very best original music Berwick has to offer.

Headlining the evening is Mark Reid, supported by Jonny Holmes, with the night opening in our intimate Lamplit Session format from Roark fresh from the release of their second studio album.
If you’ve not had the chance to catch Mark Reid before, he’s one of Berwick’s finest songwriters and frontman for a number of local projects over the years, including At Sea. His songs draw on life experience, sharp observation and honest storytelling, delivered with the confidence of one of the town’s best live performers.

Supporting him is Jonny Holmes, who after spending the last year quietly building an impressive solo repertoire is now beginning to step onto the stage in his own right.

Following his recent appearance supporting Roark’s album launch, and with his first solo recordings nearing release, we’re looking forward to seeing what he brings to his second solo performance.

Opening the night, Roark strip things back for a special Lamplit duo set. Expect crafted guitar harmonies, effortless musicianship, smooth vocals and the songs that have made them one of the Borders’ most respected original bands. Oh and probably no mandolin, that was a one time thing😏

One night. Three brilliant local acts.

When people have talked about The Fringe, Berwick and “by the sea”, it’s always been about the North.

Well… no more.

Because for too long Berwick has looked on with quiet admiration, politely applauding while someone else got all the headlines, the celebrities, the… fun!

This year, we’re saying… why not us?

From 31st July – 1st August, is bringing the Berwick Fringe Festival to a town really near you, on the border… upon-Tweed.

Starting this weekend with Mitch Laddie & The Tweed River Jazz Band.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟯𝗿𝗱 – 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲 – Blues & Soul has described Laddie as “the most exciting young blues player of the current bunch and probably the only serious prospect for major global success this country has produced in several decades.”

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟰𝘁𝗵 – 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝘇𝘇 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 – New Orleans jazz & blues from one of the town’s longest-running bands.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 – 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗱 with support from 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗸 (𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘁) – One of Berwick’s best singer-songwriters is joined by one of the town’s most prolific bands, along with newly solo Jonathan Holmes.

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 – 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 – The collaboration between Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!) and Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool), bringing mandolin, fiddle, guitar, harmony vocals, bluegrass, old-time, swing, tunes and songs.

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 – 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝘁 with support from 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁 – On her first UK tour, bringing synth indie-pop with support from Berwick’s own synth duo.

One of Berwick’s longest-established bands, they’ve been entertaining audiences with their infectious mix of 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗷𝗮𝘇𝘇, Blues 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 classics for over 40 years. Their relaxed style, brilliant musicianship and good humour always guarantee a fantastic evening, whether you’re a lifelong jazz fan or simply enjoy great live music.

🎶 🎸 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 sees a new month and we see yet another new artist. We are hoping you want to Funk it up and “get down…” for 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲 for his 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 on the 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘀𝟳 𝗕𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 stage.
