Job Title: Chef de Partie
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mediterranean cuisine, have a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. This role will involve preparing and cooking dishes under the supervision of our Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen is a testament to Greek culinary tradition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to high standards while maintaining consistency.
* Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to uphold hygiene standards and kitchen procedures.
* Assist in menu development, particularly with authentic Greek recipes and contemporary adaptations.
* Handle inventory for your station, ensuring stock levels are adequate for service.
* Participate in staff training, sharing knowledge of Greek culinary techniques.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a preference for those with experience in Greek or Mediterranean cuisine highly considered
Work Ethic: Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure during busy service times.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously within a team.
