We are passionate about our coffee, where it comes from, how it has been handled and how it is served. At Epicure we believe there are three equally important factors that contribute to producing the perfect cup of coffee. These are a combination of high quality coffee beans, passionate and highly trained baristas and good quality machinery. These three elements come together and work in harmony t

We are proud users of Union Hand Roasted Coffee. Union Coffee liaise directly with smallholder farmers around the world to source high quality coffee beans. Each batch is hand roasted in the UK, in Union’s vintage Probat roaster and this helps to develop their distinctive flavours. All Union Coffee quality scores are 84 or higher. Barista Training

At Epicure no one gets on the machine until they have the proven know how to deliver the perfect shots. Equipment

The espresso machine we use is a La Marzocco GB5, with two boilers, which helps to produce consistently good coffee. We have a K30 MAHLKÖNIG twin grinder & Mythos 2. One grinder is used for our house coffee and the other for our guest espresso, a single origin coffee, which we change seasonally. For our deliciously tasty decaffeinated coffee, we use the Jolly Mazzer grinder.
