A little update from us ✨

Over the last couple of weeks we have been working on some changes- I promise to fill you in on those next..

After nearly ten years working for Make Believe Ideas It’s my time to say goodbye… I have absolutely loved getting involved with building the bus and helping to create something new and exciting, and it wasn’t without its struggles. I’ve learnt so much about myself and what I am capable of and I am so lucky that I was given the opportunity to build the bus.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am that I’ve got to meet so many lovely families, and so many little ones grow up. Work never really felt like work when I got high fives daily. You are all such wonderful people, and I can’t thank you enough for the support and kindness you have given me over the last 10 years. Make Believe Bus wouldn’t be where it is now without you.

Which being me onto the changes..

Molly will be taking over as Cafe Manager starting Monday - she will be amazing and I know you will all support her like you have me over the years, but give her some time to adjust to her new role and tell her when she’s doing amazing please. - thank you 👩🏻‍🍳

Our opening hours are changing:

Monday - Friday 8:30-4pm
Saturday and Sunday : closed.

I know that this is going to shock some of you, but we just don’t have the staffing capabilities at the moment to run a full week and weekend, this is just a little change we need so we can build the team back up.

The menu:

Our menu doesn’t have many changes, we will no longer be selling alcohol, and we are removing jacket potatoes from the menu. They might be on as a special occasionally but we are trying to make changes for the summer to make the kitchen more bareable in the heat.

Bookings:

We will not longer be taking bookings or reservations unless groups of 10 or more.
