Berkeley Tea Rooms provide quality tea, coffee and food in a character setting at a reasonable price. The business is located within The Old White Hart – a former 16th century coaching inn. Quality suppliers are used to ensure that the distinct quality together with high standards of presentation and service will continue.

🇬🇷☀️ BERKELEY TEA ROOMS IS OPEN TODAY! ☕🍰

While the weather back home is looking a little… well, British 🌧️😂, we’ve swapped our aprons for sunglasses and are exploring beautiful Greece in our little buggies! 🛺❤️

Today we’ve been exploring the little streets of Kefalos, soaking up the sunshine and hunting down the famous Greek Freddo cappuccinos ☕😍 We’ve found the cutest little backstreet café, so naturally a coffee stop was a MUST! 🇬🇷

But don’t worry, the tea rooms are still very much OPEN! 🥰

A huge thank you to our wonderful Kate, Nora and Toni, who are taking charge while we’re away and keeping everything running smoothly. ❤️

☕ RAINY WEEKEND? WE’LL PUT THE KETTLE ON! ☕🌧️

While I’m still sunning myself in Greece 🇬🇷😂, the wonderful team at Berkeley Tea Rooms are holding the fort! 💪❤️

👩‍🍳 Macy is taking charge in the kitchen today, with her sister lending a hand, the fabulous Tony looking after you out front, and Mum on washing-up duty! 😂🫧

It’s a proper family-and-friends effort this weekend, and we’d LOVE to see you! 🥰

We’re short-staffed, so we’re running a limited menu, but there’s still plenty to choose from:

🍽️ Our lunch menu

☀️ SUNDAY FUNDAY AT BERKELEY TEA ROOMS! ☕️🍰

We’re back, we’re caffeinated, and we’re back to our FULL MENU today! 🙌🎉

📍 Open 10am–3pm today!

On duty today, you’ve got me, the wonderful Norah and our very own Harvey! ❤️ So come and see us for your Sunday breakfast, a delicious lunch, a homemade bake and a good old natter!

Now, I think we need to address yesterday… 😂👇

First of all, thank you SO much to everyone who came in and to all our lovely customers for being so patient with us! It was a busy one, and I think we did pretty blooming well considering we were a little short-staffed! 🥰

As some of you know, we had to call in some reinforcements… and let’s just say we may have raided the retirement village! 👵🏻😂

My mum, the legendary Dottie, was in her element as always (most of you know she’s practically part of the furniture here anyway 🤣), and my uncle had THE BEST DAY! He was still here at midday and absolutely loved every minute of it! ❤️

Then, at 12 o’clock , my amazing friend Hannah walked through the door. Having worked in hospitality for most of her life, she took one look at what was going on, rolled up her sleeves and got straight out there running the show like an absolute pro! 🙌

Honestly, it takes a village… and apparently ours includes Dottie, an uncle who doesn’t want to go home, and a hospitality superstar who can be deployed at short notice! 🤣🤣

A massive thank you to everyone who mucked in, and to our wonderful customers who were so understanding and patient when things took a little longer. We really do appreciate you! ❤️

Today we’re back on our full menu, so no need to raid any more retirement villages just yet! 😂☕️

Well, folks… it’s all hands on deck at Berkeley Tea Rooms today! 🤣🙈

We’re a little short-staffed, so today’s team looks a tiny bit different…

👨‍🍳 Harvey is holding the fort out front.
👩‍🍳 I’m in the kitchen trying to keep the food coming!
🧽 Mum and Uncle have been recruited onto washing-up duty… apparently family loyalty means absolutely NO escape from the dishes! 😂
❤️ And my best friends are coming in this afternoon to help out, because apparently I’ve started running a café, a family reunion AND a volunteer recruitment centre all at once! 🤣

BUT WE ARE OPEN, AND WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU! 🥰

🥪 Food service finishes at 2:15pm
🔒 We will be closing at 3pm ON THE DOT today.

Because let’s be honest, my losing streak is becoming a little embarrassing now… and Kate winning AGAIN certainly hasn’t helped my confidence! 😂🙄

🏆🧁 THE BAKE-OFF RESULTS ARE IN… AND I’VE ONLY GONE AND FORGOTTEN TO TELL YOU! 😂🤦‍♀️

So, a little while ago, Kate and I went head-to-head in another round of the Berkeley Tea Rooms Bake-Off… and guess what?!

🥁🥁🥁 KATE WON AGAIN! 🏆👏

And the bakes? Well, they SOLD OUT within 12 hours😍🍰 So clearly, you lovely lot know a good bake when you see one!

Now, you might be wondering why it’s taken me so long to announce the results…

Well… I’ve been busy. Obviously. 👀

Or perhaps I’ve just been sitting in a corner eating my feelings because I’m getting absolutely HAMMERED in my own tea rooms’ bake-off! 🤣😭

I’m beginning to think the judging system needs investigating… 👩‍⚖️😂

Congratulations, Kate! 🥳💗 Another win under your belt, and I’m starting to think I need to up my game!

But don’t get too comfortable, because I’m not giving up just yet… although I might need to have a little word with the judges! 😉
