Had a lovely day celebrating (with my crutches) Hank Marv’s 3rd birthday. 🎉
Been spoilt by my staff as always… although with that card I’m not sure if they like me or not🫣🤣

Featuring me & my son’s bezzy singing Oasis in background on facetime , I couldn’t mute that😄💚 (although I’m singing wrong words) too cute to mute ✌🏽

Back open tomorrow 8am

Three whole years!!!! 😱😱
Yes that is T H R E E whole years of Hank Marvin. Wow. Just wow😄 I am so blessed to be the owner of my little Hank Marv.

It has been the most testing and hardest three years of work. Run a business, work for yourself… it’s easy they say. Let me tell you.. it’s not. It’s non stop, it’s working every day of the week, the shifts don’t end when the door closes. The time and effort put into a business reveals the success. You have to be strong, willing, dedicated and with a vision of where you want it to be. Some days I felt like giving it all up, but I kept going.
And here I am, three years ago I opened the doors to Hank Marvin with 0 clue of what I was doing. I obviously knew how to cook/bake but never did I ever know how to run a business which is customer facing, fast paced, rash decisions, competitive and none stop. I was used to keeping myself to myself, in my own little bubble minding my own business… now I’m running one.
Here I am, 3 years on.. sat outside my cafe, under my 2x five star inspections. With my crutches (lol) proud as punch.
I am still developing as a business owner, still working on myself as a manager, still balancing the work-mum life, still re arranging the cafe to make it work, and still trying to make this hard work pay off each time.
I could not have done any of this without my dedicated, hard working staff. Past and present. There would not be this Hank Marvin without my staff and our customers. I appreciate every single person who comes through the doors or places their order through us. So thank you thank you thank you!!

Three years we have achieved a lot as a little business in Bentley and I aim to achieve a whole lot more. Here’s to hoping we’re here for another 3 💚🤍🖤

Thank you to everyone
