***Meet the Team Monday*** Meet Holly 🥰🥰
She applied for a job with us last Christmas and had NO idea what she was letting herself in for 😅
She never specified a role so we assigned one to her… and we feel like we picked it pretty well 💪🏼

Holly started on potwash and since, has been working her way through the gruelling training to become a crucial member of our amazing starter/dessert team 👩🏻‍🍳 she’s already tried her hand on main line and has not left us wanting!!!

Not only is she growing as a chef, we’re also seeing her grow as part of our team. She’s gone from being a shy teenager to a funny, confident and sassy (👀👀😘) young adult!

We’re so very proud of her progress and to have her as part of our team 😇😇😇

Yesterday afternoon, we had the pleasure of one of our own coming to perform at the Hanging Gate and her dad 🥰🥰🥰
Bella has worked as part of our Team since she was 17 and it was an absolute pleasure to see her perform with such confidence and talent 😍
We would 100% recommend Bella if anyone is looking to book live music for any kind of event. They tailored their set beautifully to fit in with our venue 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We will be re booking for an evening of live music in December so 👀👀 this space!!! 🎶🎤🎵🎸🎶

Tonight we say a very fond farewell to our Sophie 🥹
Not going to lie, I started writing this thinking I was at peace with it.. but it’s started to feel like an emotional breakup the more I’ve tried to say 😭😭💔
It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later pal 🥰
Sophie has been with us for 7 whole years. Since she was a literal child (in the eyes of the law). She’s done nothing but grow as a person and has become an unforgettable personality at the HG over the last 7 years.
And I for one, am insanely proud of the woman she has become 😘 She is strong, she is brave and she is definitely unstoppable.
Best of luck in your new job Soph. We hope to see you back literally all the time because you can’t bear to be away from us 🤷🏻‍♀️😘

Hanging Gate Team night out done differently this time!! 🏏 We decided that instead of the usual nights out that you all love to hear about (👀👀🍻😂), we’d mix it up and do team sports. An absolutely fantastic evening at the park with good music, food, drinks and amazing company (both old and existing Team and some of our regulars) Thank you to everyone who contributed to another amazing get together 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 ❤️ ❤️
