☕🍕 A NEW COFFEE STOP TO DISCOVER – WITH AN ILKESTON CONNECTION THIS SUNDAY
If you like discovering independent cafés around Derbyshire, here's one you might not have come across yet.
A6 Coffee Co. in Milford opened in May, with cyclists very much at the heart of it. Based alongside Velo Bavarian on Foundry Lane, it's well placed for a stop-off while exploring this part of Derbyshire.
But you don't need to turn up in Lycra. 😄
Walkers, coffee lovers and anyone simply looking for somewhere different are equally welcome, with speciality coffee, cakes, indoor and outdoor seating, secure bike parking and free parking on site.
And this Sunday there's an Ilkeston connection too.
Haydn Allen, from Ilkeston, is taking his mobile pizzeria to A6, serving his Neapolitan-style pizzas from 12.30pm.
Haydn has built up a loyal following locally and takes his pizza-making seriously. His dough alone is fermented for 65 hours, with a lot of thought going into the ingredients, flavours and, of course, getting those characteristic crusts just right.
So if you fancy a Sunday trip out, good coffee, Derbyshire countryside and freshly cooked pizza doesn't sound like a bad combination. ☕🍕
