When people are going to the lenghts of fake profiles & mailing customers who support us 🙄 If anyone has concerns about our business, please come and speak to us directly instead of hiding behind fake Facebook profiles and anonymous messages.

We are happy to address genuine concerns, but we will not engage with harassment, false accusations, or personal attacks. Most importantly, please leave our customers alone. They should not be contacted, targeted, or harassed for supporting a local business.

If you have something to say, do it openly and respectfully. Our door is always open for honest conversation.

📢 We would like to address a social media post regarding an incident that occurred on Sunday when our shop temporarily ran out of disposable spoons due to supply shortages from both our regular supplier and local stores.

It has been alleged that a customer was offered a spoon from the bin to wash and reuse. We have discussed the matter with the members of staff who were working that day, and we can confirm that this was not the case.

A member of staff offered to wash and provide the spoon that had been used to scoop the customer's nutella into her serving cup. As this spoon had only been used in the preparation of her own order, staff believed this to be a reasonable solution during the temporary shortage.

It is possible that this offer was misunderstood or misheard, which may have led to the impression that a spoon from the bin was being offered. However, we would like to make it clear that at no point would we offer a customer an item taken from a bin for reuse.

We take hygiene, food safety, and customer service extremely seriously and remain committed to maintaining the highest standards at all times. We appreciate our customers' understanding during unforeseen supply shortages and thank everyone for their continued support.

The Shankill July Festival 2026 gets underway on Tuesday 30th June with the unveiling of a brand-new Ulster-American Mural at Lawnbrook Avenue and Shankill Road.

This exciting event marks the first of 12 days of celebrations, culture, family fun and community events taking place across the Greater Shankill as part of this year's July Festival programme.

Join us from 3pm for the official unveiling, followed by a fantastic Fourth of July-style community celebration featuring:
