It’s with sadness that we will be closing the doors on Foggy Brew Coffee on Sunday 22nd December. We will be open from tomorrow and hope to see as many of you as we can before the shutters come down over the next few weeks. We’ve experienced so much over the past 6 years, been flooded twice, battled through Covid, celebrated two marriages, lost a soul mate to cancer and experimented with a failed edible coffee cup. We are an alternative to the big corporates, we know the names of our customers, we know your coffee orders, we know your families, the names of your pets. We just don’t serve coffee, we’re an extension of peoples lives, a club and the most open accessible type of club at that. We were unanimously voted as Belfast’s highest rated coffee shop two years running on Google Review. Despite all of this, we were financially unsuccessful, we lost a tonne of cash but where we failed financially we built an empire of hearts and minds. If you get a chance, pop into the coffee shop before Christmas. We’re going to do something special on Christmas week, something quintessential Foggy Brew, tongue in cheek and undoubtedly Belfast.
