It's been on the menu for what seems like forever and we can't take it off

Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce and ice-cream

Dates soaked overnight in tea

2 types of sugar

Eggs

Butter

Flour

Spices

Sea salt

Baked to a moist and sticky finish

Doused in butterscotch sauce

Finished with vanilla ice cream

On 7 days a week

This is sort of a hybrid of a traditional breakfast bap and the Indian Vada Pav

We have of course our homemade super soft bun

Some coriander and green chilli chutney top and bottom

A spiced potato cake which is fried then topped with cheddar

Lashings of crisp streaky bacon

A fried egg

Topped with spiced sev

Turkish Eggs - a la Belfast

We've had several variants of this over the years and I always think each new one is the best

Labneh is the star. We get local Greek style yogurt, salt it, then strain it for a few days to remove the water content resulting in a super thick, rich and luxurious base.

To this we add chilli, lemon and garlic before smearing liberally in a bowl.

Then the flavour and texture profile is give an injection with dukkah, pickled chillies, pickled golden raisins, chilli oil, scallion oil and scallions.

Topped with 2 x soft poached eggs.

Served with a thick slice of our own sourdough toast.
