Back in July, I got to make a very special cake for my son’s 21st birthday! 🥳🎉

Of course, we had to go with his favourite cartoon character… Patrick Star! ⭐️💖 Because you’re never too old for a bit of SpongeBob fun! 😂🌊

It was such a fun cake to make, and even more special knowing it was for my boy’s 21st! 🥹💙

So excited to finally share my sugar piece created for the Humanimals Sugar Art Collaboration! ✨

This piece was such a fun opportunity to explore the connection between humans and animals through sugar art. Every detail was handmade with lots of patience, creativity, and, of course, plenty of sugar/modeling paste!

Over the years, I’ve had way too much fun turning cake into… not cake 🎂✨

From hyper-realistic burgers to big jar of chocolate, these bakes are all 100% edible—even if they don’t look it at first glance 😋

There’s something so satisfying about recreating everyday food in sugar and sponge—studying the textures, colors, and tiny details until it’s almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
