Ciao ragazzi!!
It's September which means we are in the middle of the Prosciutto di Parma festival Prosciutto di Parma
Two high calibre food companies: Saint Ilario salumificio and the wonderful staff at Dolci Pasticci in Langhirano came together to deliver an epic menu for the first weekend of the annual festival.
What was on the menu?
A plate of San Ilario prosciutto di parma with or without equally delicious mozzarella served with the best grissini one can taste.
Tortelli di patate con formaggio, b***o e crispy prosciutto.
The Parma Hamburger, a freshly cooked patty wrapped in Prosciutto di Parma with formaggio served in fresh baked buns.
A choice of EIGHT local wines to compliment each fork full, served in actual glassware. Then to round off the culinary experience a selection of mouth watering torte 🍰
The red cake of Langhirano, caffè torte, crostata Nutella or marmellata, a life changing brownie torta (heavenly), almond torte and a delicious nut torta all made on site by the clever and talented owners. They also hand made each tortello! 🍽️
We even found time to stop and appreciate the Blood moon 🌝
