What a weekend. โค๏ธ
I honestly don't even know where to start.
This weekend was months of planning, countless late nights and so much hard work all coming together. After almost selling out on Friday night, I was back home baking until 5am to make sure I had enough stock for Saturday. Safe to say... I was exhausted! ๐
But every single minute was worth it.
Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers, chatting to everyone and watching so many people choose Clinton Bakes absolutely blew me away. I had support from so many locals, people who had travelled from all over Northern Ireland, and even customers visiting from Scotland who made sure they got their hands on some CB goodies before heading home. That honestly means the world to me.
Running Clinton Bakes can be overwhelming at times, but weekends like this remind me exactly why I do it. Every purchase, every recommendation, every social media share and every kind word helps my little business grow more than you'll ever know.
A massive thank you to Lorag for inviting me back to be part of Festival on the River again this year. It's such an amazing event and I'm so grateful to have been involved.
And finally... the biggest thank you has to go to my family. โค๏ธ
People often see me behind the stall, but they don't always see everything that goes on behind the scenes. From helping collect stock, loading and unloading endless boxes, driving all of the equipment to and from the market, making emergency stock runs (even at 10pm when I'd run out of ingredients!), staying with me throughout the markets, packing up afterwards and generally keeping me going when I was running on very little sleep... I genuinely couldn't do any of this without them.
It really does take a village to run a small business, and I know I'm incredibly lucky to have the best people around me.
Thank you to every single person who came over to say hello, bought a treat, recommended me to a friend or supported Clinton Bakes this weekend.
I appreciate every single one of you. ๐๐ช
