🎉 WE OPEN TOMORROW! 🎉

The wait is nearly over! Joshie’s Munchbox will officially be opening its doors tomorrow and we cannot wait to welcome everyone in.

📍 345 Newtownards Road, BT4 1AJ

Joshie’s Munchbox was named after our son and brother Joshie, who sadly passed away. He loved his food, and opening this café is our way of honouring his memory and sharing that love for good food with the community. ❤️

Come join us tomorrow for:
🍳 Fresh cooked breakfasts
🍔 Hot meals & tasty sides
☕ Fresh coffee & drinks
🏡 A cosy, welcoming café atmosphere

Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee, we’d love to see you there and celebrate the start of this journey with you all.

❤️ Good Food. Good Coffee. Good Company.

Newton Brunch Bar – A Thank You and Goodbye.

After a great deal of thought, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to permanently close Newton Brunch Bar.

This is not a decision I ever wanted to make. However, ongoing health struggles, combined with the growing stress and pressures that come with running a small independent business, have made it impossible for me to continue in a way that is healthy or sustainable.
Newton Brunch Bar has been more than just a café. It has been a place of routine, laughter, conversation, community, and connection. I want to sincerely thank every single person who has walked through our doors — whether you came in daily, weekly, or just once. Your support, kindness, chats, and loyalty have meant more than you’ll ever know.
To our customers, suppliers, and everyone who supported the business over the years — thank you. You kept us going through good times and challenging ones, and I will always be grateful for that.
Closing the doors is heartbreaking, but prioritising my health has to come first. I leave with nothing but appreciation and pride for what Newton Brunch Bar was and the community that surrounded it.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

💙 A very sad David.
