Scrumchies is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deli/Café Team Member to join our team!

If you love good food, enjoy working with people, and can keep your cool when the orders start flying in, we’d love to hear from you! 😄

The Role

We're looking for someone who:
• Has previous deli, café or food service experience
• Is confident preparing sandwiches, breakfasts, hot food and café items
• Has excellent customer service skills
• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Takes pride in food presentation and cleanliness
• Is reliable, friendly and works well as part of a team
• Has a good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling

⭐ What We're Looking For

Experience is important, but we're also looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for good food and great service.

You'll be joining a friendly team where no two days are quite the same!

We are recruiting an experienced Part-Time Chef to join our team! If you thrive under pressure, love smashing out a killer brunch rush, and want your evenings back, we want to hear from you.

​Job Details
​Position: Part-Time Chef / Short-Order Cook

​Hours: 16–24 hours per week (Must be available for weekend day shifts)
​Shift Times: Daytime only (No late nights!)

​Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + tips & free shift meals

​What You’ll Do
​Cook and present high-quality cafe dishes (brunch classics, salads, specials) quickly and consistently.
​Manage your station efficiently during peak breakfast and lunch rushes.
​Keep the kitchen spotless, following all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
​Prep ingredients ahead of time to ensure smooth service.
​Work collaboratively with our front-of-house team to keep ticket times low.

​What We’re Looking For
​Experience: At least 1–2 years of cooking experience in a busy, fast-casual kitchen or cafe environment.

​Speed & Stamina: The ability to stay calm, focused, and fast when the ticket machine starts printing non-stop.

​Reliability: Someone who shows up on time, ready to bring good energy to the kitchen.

​Certifications: Food hygiene certificate (preferred, but we can provide training).
