Full race report here for the final day 🙌 super proud, always 💙 Joel Haire Racing

What a day yesterday 😀 stil so excited.
Can't believe I'm now the champion of the bambam class 😳 😁

A damp Sunday morning greeted us when we woke but thankfully no rain, just cold 😫
As usual after bikes both passed scrutineering, it was time to get the helmet on and head out for the first practice of the day on the 125cc bike.
Steady speed to get used to the damp track and managed a time of 1.16.247.

Next was the 90cc. I had a brand new set of tyres on this weekend so I needed to go out and scrub them off. Slow and steady but managed a good practice lap time of 1.21.139

Qualifying sessions quickly came round.
Unfortunately in the 125 class my buddy fell off infront of me and I had no where to go, I had to swerve him and I came off on the grass hitting the tyre wall. I was a little mucky but we were both OK and got back on to finish the session. Managing a time of 1.17.647

90cc qualifying, I picked up the speed a little more and managed to get pole position 🤟 with a time of 1.17.895

Race 1.
125cc best time of 1.10.222 4th pace ( it was so close. 0.002 of a second. )
90cc 1.13.368 2nd place

Race 2
125cc 1.07.548 (fastest lap in class) 3rd place
90cc 1.12.346 (fastest lap in class) 2nd place

Race 3
125cc 1.08.505 4th place
90cc 1.13.170 2nd place.

My three 2nd place finishes today in the 90cc class. Managed to secure the championship 🙌 🤟my the 4ths a d 3rd place in the 125cc class puts me 4th in the championship.. missing out on that 0.002 of a second. Well done FS Racing 17 fionn stephens-- great battles all year 👏

Great battles were had in both classes with my friends. And sadly that was the last time il be riding my 90, as I move into bigger things next season 🙃

I just want to thank the organisers of IMC for a fantastic championship all year. 🤟

A huge special shout out to Peter Eaton 2 Strokes Racing for being the best team manager. Always on hand for help and advice. And being a fantastic support all year. So lucky to be continuing with you next year.

So we officially sponsor an IRISH CHAMPION 🏆

Our nephew Joel Haire Racing completed the final round of the Irish Minibike Championship at Nutts Corner on Sunday and has WON the Bam Bam 90cc class of the IMC in his 1st full year at the racing 🏁 and he has finished in 4th place of the 125cc round also

To say we are proud of him is an understatement 💙 we are so pleased for him and would like to congratulate him on his huge success 🙌 well done baby boy, you'll always be our champ 🏆 💙

We look forward to see what next year brings along as he has now finished in the 90cc and is moving onto bigger and better things with his new bike 🏍
