Well, that’s us just back from the longest shift.
After a full day’s work and very little sleep, we were back in through the night baking our daily selection, alongside croissants for the Best Croissant in the UK semi-finals. Every croissant had to be the perfect weight, size and shape — all delivered to Manchester by 10am.
The level of viennoiserie on display was absolutely outstanding. It’s such an exciting time for small independent bakeries, and the quality across the board is just incredible.
We also got to meet some lovely people who, just like us, are truly passionate about what they do — and that made the experience even more special.
We’re absolutely delighted to say that we’ll now be heading to The Savoy in London on 16th October 2026 to take part in the finals of Best Croissant in the UK by Isigny Ste-Mère
Absolutely over the moon.
