We’re Hiring! – Steamers Restaurant, Beer, Devon

We’re looking for friendly, hardworking people to join our front of house team at Steamers this summer!

We have part-time and summer seasonal positions available, with shifts mainly covering evenings and weekends — ideal if you’re looking for flexible work over the summer months, with potential to carry on through September and October into Christmas too!

We’re a family-run local restaurant with a great team and a brilliant atmosphere, and we take pride in looking after both our guests and our staff.

No previous experience is necessary — just a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in!

We offer:

• A good rate of pay
• A friendly, supportive team
• A fun and welcoming place to work

New menu. New obsession. We handed Jess the Steamers menu and let her loose — here’s what she’s having 😄

📸 1. Lamb Kofta Scotch Egg with Tzatziki & Pickled Garden Vegetable Salad — a proper opener. Bold flavours, brilliant textures. Pairs beautifully with a cold one, just saying. 🍺

📸 2. Line-Caught Fish Curry Chowder & homemade Focaccia — hearty, fresh, and made for long afternoons. We’d order two portions if we were her. No judgement.

📸 3. White Chocolate Cheesecake with Blueberry Compote — rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to cap off a Steamers session. Of course she finished with this. Of course.

Well, it’s official — we’re into the last month of Tapas Wednesdays at Steamers, and there are only four Wednesday evenings left before we have a little break until September.

So if you’ve been meaning to come along and just haven’t quite got round to it — ahora o nunca, as they say! That’s “now or never” for those of you who didn’t pay much attention in Spanish class😄.

Come on down, grab a table, share some gorgeous small plates and raise a glass before we say adiós for the summer.

We’ll be back in September — but that feels like a long way off. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

🐾 BIG NEWS AT STEAMERS! 🐾

After much thought and careful consideration, we are SO excited to announce that Steamers is going dog friendly! 🐶❤️

And who better to help us make the announcement than Boris — our Chef’s adorable five month old puppy! Just LOOK at him! 😍🐾 We think he speaks for himself!

We’ve thought long and hard about this one, and we want to make sure it works beautifully for everyone — so here’s what you need to know:

🐕 We have specially designated dog-friendly tables just for you and your furry family members

🗓️ You MUST let us know at the time of booking that you’ll be bringing your dog — this is essential!

🚫 Please note that not all areas of Steamers can accommodate dogs, as we are working hard to be the best of both worlds for all of our guests

📋 This is currently under review, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on how things go!
