A very special 40th birthday cake for a lovely lady! I modelled her favourite handbag and shoes to go on the cake, they can either be kept as a keepsake or eaten, whichever you prefer! I know a lot of my customers have kept the sugar toppers as keepsakes which is a lovely thing to do.

My favourite theme to do, fairy woodland! All moulded by hand from paste. For a little girl who’s more get in the dirt and eat a spider than a pink sparkly fairy, her mum’s words not mine! So I even gave her edible dirt in the form of crushed Oreos around the outside.

🎂✨ A LITTLE INTRODUCTION… FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T MET ME YET! ✨🎂

Hello lovely people! 👋🏻💗

I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly, especially as there are lots of new faces around here!

I’m Jessica, the person behind Fieldfare Cakes — and I’ve been creating cakes for around 14 years from my home studio. 🎂🧁

What started as a love of baking has grown into a business that I absolutely adore. I specialise in creating bespoke celebration cakes, designed especially for you and your special occasion. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, baby shower or simply an excuse for cake (which is always a good enough reason in my opinion! 😉), I love turning your ideas into something really special.

My workspace is my green and lilac cabin, where you’ll usually find me surrounded by cake boxes, edible decorations, sugar, sprinkles and probably a mug or two of tea! 💜☕️

I’m a huge lover of all things pretty, pastel, vintage and a little bit whimsical, and I love adding those personal little touches that make a cake unique to the person it’s made for.

And when I’m not busy baking, I’m usually spending time with my family, I’m a mum to two teenagers who now take great delight in being much taller than me! — or being followed around by my three little Shih Tzus! 🐶🐶🐶💕

This special milestone birthday cake went out on Friday for a birthday celebration in London. My customer supplied the miniature alcohol bottles and chocolate ci**rs and also placed this amazing cake topper on the cake at the venue. I’ve not seen one like this before., amazing!
