🎂✨ A LITTLE INTRODUCTION… FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T MET ME YET! ✨🎂

Hello lovely people! 👋🏻💗

I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly, especially as there are lots of new faces around here!

I’m Jessica, the person behind Fieldfare Cakes — and I’ve been creating cakes for around 14 years from my home studio. 🎂🧁

What started as a love of baking has grown into a business that I absolutely adore. I specialise in creating bespoke celebration cakes, designed especially for you and your special occasion. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, baby shower or simply an excuse for cake (which is always a good enough reason in my opinion! 😉), I love turning your ideas into something really special.

My workspace is my green and lilac cabin, where you’ll usually find me surrounded by cake boxes, edible decorations, sugar, sprinkles and probably a mug or two of tea! 💜☕️

I’m a huge lover of all things pretty, pastel, vintage and a little bit whimsical, and I love adding those personal little touches that make a cake unique to the person it’s made for.

And when I’m not busy baking, I’m usually spending time with my family, I’m a mum to two teenagers who now take great delight in being much taller than me! — or being followed around by my three little Shih Tzus! 🐶🐶🐶💕

I was going through my cake pics earlier today so I thought I’d share the first ever cupcakes I ever made with one of my latest cakes that I was really proud of.

17 years ago I made the cupcakes for Mother’s Day, I followed a tutorial from a magazine and I was so proud of those little roses and leaves 🤣 fast forward to my latest wedding cake, that I drove all the way to Kent so set up in 30° heat and I see how far I’ve come.

Sometimes I doubt myself, especially at the moment as my diary is very quiet 😢 but perhaps I need to have a little more faith in myself.

So if you are doubting yourself, which we all do let’s be honest, keep going even when it feels hard. You’ve come further than you know!
