IMPORTANT UPDATE
For those that know or don’t know , we had a major leak from the flats above which unfortunately came into the kitchen area and done a lot of damage which forced us to close temporarily.
We have been closed now for nearly two months and the managing agent (trinity estates) for the flats above still haven’t resolved or eliminated the issue which is causing the leak.
They have pretty much let our kitchen rot with no help from them to renovate the kitchen and replace the damage equipments.
We going round and round with the insurers because they don’t know who is responsible, is it the managing agent, the landlord or the bedford council?
We have liaised with the council, trinity estates, insurers, solicitors BUT still not much progress in getting things back in order so we can start trading again all because apparently the flats above won’t give them access.
This has been a very stressful and depressing time for me, my family, my loyal supporters and customers.
It took me just under 3 years to start from scratch and build up an excellent business, loyal customer base and great social media following.
We wanted to bring something different to Bedford such as our unique Choux pastry, cookie dough , brownies and also our unique savoury options such as the KokoBlack gormet burgers and special mocktail drinks
We believe we achieved this and where we wanted to be In the business but then BOOM it comes crashing down due a leak!
Nevertheless we will NOT give up!
As I say to my kids, you either win or you learn in life ! You never lose!
Keep us in your prayers and keep on supporting us however you can as it means a lot to us who built something through blood sweat and tears with just family.
Please tag any local councillors, the mp, or anyone that can help us in this situation, we even emailed the new mayor who hasn’t responded! Please tag him too!
WE WILL BE BACK GOD WILLING
