It's monday again! These weeks just keep rolling by, don't they? We've got some big releases over the next few days that we are very excited about!

Friday sees us hosting the Beta Release event of the brand-new Cyberpunk TCG, building decks and doing crime in Night City for the first time. We've seen these cards up close this weekend thanks to a customer's recently-fulfilled Kickstarter and we can definitively say they are worth the hype!

And at some point this week, with a little bit of good fortune and crossed fingers and toes, we'll finally be getting Trench Crusade: Carcass Front on our shelves, which couldn't come at a more opportune time as our community has really taken off this past month!

And on top of all of that, we're now less than a month away from (eek!), and it's probably time to start planning 2027, too...

Bank Holiday: We're Open!

Well, the summer is almost over - that flew by, didn't it? We're already looking ahead to the autumn months and, whisper it, that big day in December, but first let's see the holidays out with a bang! We're open with all of our board games, miniatures, trading cards, hot and cold drinks, and more, so come and say hi and treat yourself!

Amazing New Stock!

It doesn't matter if we haven't got any room on the shelves, we just cannot help picking up new things for the store. But in our defence, just look at them! Board games and an RPG for Jim Henson's Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal, the brand new Introductory Set for Pillage from , and a lovely game of planting and rural squabbles in Village Green from .

But the true jewel of today's delivery is the absolutely astoundingly beautiful Sun Rot from . Seriously, if you're a fan of the grimdark stylings of classic Warhammer or Trench Crusade, or board games like The Night Cage, check out this game. A GM-led co-operative board game of dice, cards, and luck, every component of this game inspires the imagination and it is taking everything for us to resist buying it from ourselves!!

Learn to Play Sessions: Saturday 29th August

We've got some exciting demonstrations coming up this weekend for the hyper grim-dark miniatures game Trench Crusade and the snappy and aggressive upcoming TCG for Cyberpunk!

For the uninitiated, a quick summary. Trench Crusade is an alternate history where the Crusades literally unleashed Hell, and by the early twentieth century a deeply horrible world is barely hanging on against the Foetid Dark (a pretty cool term for demons and all sorts of horrible monsters, if you ask us). Cyberpunk brings the neon streets of Night City to the tabletop, with stunning artwork and direct, combative play. A day of two halves, for sure!

With Trench Crusade's first starter set 'Carcass Front' just around the corner, and the Beta prerelease events for Cyberpunk TCG just a fortnight away, there's no better time to get to grips with these awesome games. No booking necessary, just come along and check them out!

New Releases; Starcraft, Blood Bowl, and more!

Back when Starcraft II was announced, a suitably grizzled Jim Raynor said 'It's about damn time.' That is doubly true for the long, long overdue release of the Starcraft Tabletop Miniatures Game from ! Finally you can get your hands on Terran, Protoss, and Zerg minis, including characters like Raynor, Artanis, and the iconic Kerrigan. This brand new release includes the 'Founder Edition' Starter Set, which is a limited run absolutely packed to the gills with goodies. Look at the size of that box!

Over the weekend we also saw the Sevens Pitch for Blood Bowl and a wave of reinforcements for the Forces of Chaos in the Old World, including the coolest two-headed Chaos dragon since Galrauch (if you know, you know). We don't need a new dragon, we don't need a new dragon...

Free RPG Day, Saturday 22nd August, 10am Onwards!

Tomorrow is Free RPG Day, that time of year when RPG stores and publishers get together to spread the joy of roleplaying with the masses! Admittedly, it's been slightly delayed here in Europe, but that's not uncommon at the moment. But we've got a day full of fully-booked RPGs like Vaesen, Mothership, Daggerheart, and more, and heaps of freebies to give away from the moment we open the doors!

On a personal level, it's an exciting day because our RPG section has grown *so much* since last year that you'd really have to travel a very long way to find a better in-person collection. I'm excited to see what rarities and oddities that people might pick up!

Learn to Play Cyberpunk TCG: Saturday 29th August, 6pm onwards

It's time to plug in, Choom, and get ready to learn how to survive on the unforgiving streets of Night City! This brand new TCG brings the unforgettable neon-lit and blood-soaked world of Cyberpunk to the tabletop, where players will build up their organisations and fight over street cred and crime jobs to find out who's the meanest Legend around.

Bulwark Games will be supporting Cyberpunk TCG as an Organised Play store (alongside all of our other games!), and we want to recruit you into our gang. Come and learn to play with our demo decks ahead of the Beta Prerelease in September, when booster packs will hit our shelves for the very first time.

No booking or experience of Cyberpunk necessary, just be ready to prove that even on the digital streets of Night City, ancient wisdom still holds true: knowledge is power.

We've had a big move around this weekend (well, it was a lot of work, at least!), shifting the board game library to a new home in the windows! We felt it was getting a little lost hidden behind the tables, so we've given it pride of place to greet you all when you come in the door. Doesn't it look good! And don't worry, the kids' library hasn't gone, it's just moved to the far corner.

That's given us room to create a lovely 'New Releases / Start Here' display, and bring an imposing Space Marine to watch over everyone. Happy sunday!

One Piece TCG Events; August Onwards!

We're a few weeks into our journey as an organised play store for One Piece, and we're keeping the vibes jolly and the play level accessible and beginner friendly! And next week on Sunday 23rd August, we get to run our very first release event for OP-17- and tickets are available now!

Our board game stock is *full!!*

We have taken off every duplicate, stacked boxes as high as we can, stolen every inch of space on our store shelves but that's it, we've run out of room - we have too many board games for sale! (And maybe we've got more coming, who could say...)

There's nothing we love more than packed shelves full of our favourite titles; Everdell, Spirit Island, Eldritch Horror, Star Trek: Star Realms, Meadow, Terraforming Mars, Frosthaven, and so may more!
