Hi everyone! Kathryn here.

Some of you may know that alongside my new full-time role, I've been working on a little passion project that combines two things I love – creativity and helping children have fun.

I'm excited to introduce The Adventure Club! 🗺️🔍✨

I'll be creating bespoke birthday adventures for children, including mystery parties, treasure hunts, escape room challenges, secret agent missions and creative challenge parties.

Every party is designed around the individual child, with a focus on imagination, teamwork and making sure every child feels included.

As a mum, former café manager and someone who has spent years creating experiences for people, I'm looking forward to bringing a little extra adventure to birthdays across Battle and the surrounding areas.

Hi everyone 😊 Kathryn Penton here 👋
Some of you may know me as the café manager in Little Battle—where I spent a lot of time creating a space for families, making parents feel relaxed and understood, running children’s activities, hosting parties, and (most importantly) keeping little ones entertained while parents could enjoy food and a cuppa in peace!

Although Little Battle has now closed, I’m still very much doing what I love most—working with children and supporting families locally.

So I wanted to quietly put this out there in case it’s helpful to anyone:
I’m now offering friendly, reliable childcare and children’s support services, including:
❤️ Babysitting (daytime, evenings & weekends)
❤️ School wrap-around care
❤️ Children’s party entertainment and themed events
❤️ Fun activity sessions & engagement including art clubs, crafts and educational activities.
❤️ Help during events or busy family occasions

I’m known for being calm, trustworthy, and very hands-on with kids of all ages—and I genuinely enjoy making things fun and easy for them (and stress-free for parents).

After an incredible journey, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Little Battle.

We’ve loved every moment of building a space for families, little ones, and our community — from busy play sessions to coffee catch-ups and everything in between.

We’re so grateful to every single person who has supported us, visited us, and been part of what we created here 💛

For now, it’s time for us to close this chapter and focus on new opportunities.

Thank you for being part of Little Battle — it’s meant more than you know.
