I'm now taking bookings for bespoke Halloween adventures for children aged 7-12, with the story and level of spookiness tailored to your group.

🕵️ Kid-friendly Whodunnits: everyone becomes a character, questions the suspects and follows the clues to work out what really happened.

🔎 Spooky Detective Hunts: something strange has happened! The children work together, hunt for evidence, solve puzzles and crack the mystery.

🔐 Creepy Escape Rooms: codes, riddles, locked clues and challenges to solve before time runs out.

Nothing gruesome and no genuinely frightened children required!

😂 Adventures can be silly-spooky or properly mysterious depending on the age and personalities of the group.

Every Adventure Club party is story-led and designed to get every child involved, not just the loudest ones.

🎃 **HALLOWEEN AT THE ADVENTURE CLUB** 🔎

Ever wished kids could have their own version of those brilliantly elaborate grown-up murder mystery parties?

Well… now they can. **Without the murder.** 😂

This Halloween, The Adventure Club is offering **Spooky Whodunnit Parties** for ages 7–11, with two different ways to play:

🎭 **THE WHODUNNIT**
Perfect for older children who love performing, getting into character and being right in the middle of the story.

Each child gets their own character, secrets and information to uncover. They'll question each other, follow clues, examine the evidence and work out **whodunnit** before the case is closed.

🔎 **THE SPOOKY MYSTERY**
A gentler option for children who'd rather solve the mystery together than take on individual roles.

Perhaps a witch's spell book has disappeared… a potion has gone terribly wrong… or somebody needs to explain **WHY THE CAT IS BLUE?!** 🐈‍⬛💙

The team will hunt for clues, crack puzzles and work together to discover what really happened.

👻 Spooky, silly and mysterious - **not scary**.

And, as with every Adventure Club party, the story can be tailored around your child and the things they love.

Case closed! Dog Man is rescued!

The Adventure Club had its first mystery yesterday. A personalised party focused around the birthday girls favourite things. We had LEGO activities, map finding and memory games all resulting in a completed news paper report from the birthday who played the role of her favourite Dog Man character Sarah Hatoff.
It was so much fun to build and create and everyone had a great time, the kids were all engaged throughout and the parents got to chill and chat together knowing the children were safe and entertained.

Hi everyone! Kathryn here.

Some of you may know that alongside my new full-time role, I've been working on a little passion project that combines two things I love – creativity and helping children have fun.

I'm excited to introduce The Adventure Club! 🗺️🔍✨

I'll be creating bespoke birthday adventures for children, including mystery parties, treasure hunts, escape room challenges, secret agent missions and creative challenge parties.

Every party is designed around the individual child, with a focus on imagination, teamwork and making sure every child feels included.

As a mum, former café manager and someone who has spent years creating experiences for people, I'm looking forward to bringing a little extra adventure to birthdays across Battle and the surrounding areas.

Hi everyone 😊 Kathryn Penton here 👋
Some of you may know me as the café manager in Little Battle—where I spent a lot of time creating a space for families, making parents feel relaxed and understood, running children’s activities, hosting parties, and (most importantly) keeping little ones entertained while parents could enjoy food and a cuppa in peace!

Although Little Battle has now closed, I’m still very much doing what I love most—working with children and supporting families locally.

So I wanted to quietly put this out there in case it’s helpful to anyone:
