Dine at the Orangery | Thursday 24th September

On Thursday 24th September, we’ll be opening the doors of the Orangery for one of our very special Dine at the Orangery evenings.

From 7pm, Chef Director James Kirby will create an exquisite seasonal menu, showcasing the best of our kitchen garden alongside produce from our local farmers and producers.

The Orangery doesn’t usually open in the evening, making this a rather unique opportunity to experience it after dark. The tables will be candlelit, there’ll be live music throughout the evening, and each course will be complemented by carefully selected local wines from Henners.

We have a very rare last-minute opportunity to welcome either a table of up to four, or a table for two, to this intimate evening.

£75 per person, plus beverages on the evening.

Important Notice – Orangery Closure

Unfortunately, Ashburnham Place is currently experiencing a site-wide water supply failure, which means we need to close the Orangery for the whole of Tuesday while essential works are carried out to resolve the issue and restore the water supply.

We’re incredibly sorry to everyone who is affected by this unexpected closure, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding while the necessary repairs are completed.

We anticipate that the Orangery will be fully open and operational as normal from Wednesday.

Our services and facilities are cared for and provided by community members, many of whom are volunteers. Over the next couple of weeks we will see a significant change in our team as many of our current volunteers leave and new volunteers arrive. In order to manage this changeover period as smoothly as possible we will be temporarily using disposable crockery and cutlery. We apologize if this impacts your visit. We expect to do this from Wednesday 2nd September . Normal service will resume on Tuesday 15th September.
