Eid ul-Fitr means Festival of Breaking the Fast. It is a celebration post Ramadan, emphasising the importance of community bonds, charitable giving, strength and self discipline. Families prepare and share festive meals including traditional dishes and sweets such as biryani, kebabs, samosas and plenty of mithai with Chai!

Holi: Known as the Festival of Colours and one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals in India and different communities around the world. It marks the arrival of spring, symbolising the victory of good over evil, celebrating the divine love between Lord Krishna and Radha 🕉️

Holi brings families, friends and neighbours together, fostering a sense of unity and community. A time to visit loved ones and indulge in festive food and sweets, throwing gulal 🎨 at eachother (coloured powders), dancing, laughing and being joyous 🙏🏽
