A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT OUR GUEST CHEF NIGHTS ❤️
First of all, a huge apology to everyone who was looking forward to Fred & Christophe Lacroix’s Spanish evening last week. It was a really difficult decision to postpone the night, and we were genuinely disappointed not to be able to go ahead.
It also highlighted something really important about these one-off guest chef evenings. Unlike our usual menu, these events rely on advance bookings so our guest chefs know exactly how many people they’re cooking for and can order and prep accordingly. It also helps us minimise waste and, most importantly, makes sure these special evenings are viable for everyone involved.
Our guest chef nights have been hugely popular, with most selling out, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve given them. Last week was an unusual one — we actually received lots of enquiries after we’d made the decision to postpone, which showed us there was definitely plenty of interest!
So, if there’s a guest chef night you fancy, please get yourself booked in advance rather than leaving it until the day. Your booking really does make a difference and helps us keep bringing fantastic chefs and different food experiences to the Rose & Crown.
