We’ve shifted into that time of late spring abundance in the OAK garden (and nearby woodland with the tail end of the wild garlic). Elsie’s latest roundup from the beds shows everything coming into its own: rhubarb, artichokes, salad leaves, chard, garlic, and a greenhouse full of seedlings pushing through.
It’s exactly the right time to be in the garden, when everything is moving quickly, decisions matter, and small changes can shape the months ahead. A chance to see things in real time, ask questions, and learn what actually works.
So this is a good time to let you know we have just a handful of spaces left for our Gardening Masterclass next Saturday 23rd May. Spend the morning with .boiss , whose knowledge comes from years of working the soil day in, day out, practical, thoughtful guidance on biodynamic, regenerative and no dig methods, alongside companion planting, crop rotation, composting and natural fertilisers.
Tea, coffee and cake from the OAK kitchen are included.
